About Visit Bad Godesberg.com

Visit Bad Godesberg.com
is an independant,
non-offiicial website
part of the International
Phone Book of the World
"Visit Project".

The idea is to encourage
the creation of beautiful
modern internet sites
that promote cultural heritage.

In case YOU should have a passion
for Bad Godesberg
and you want to create a magical website about the city
you still have the opportunity to aquire
or even to lease the domain.
We would be enchanted if you
turn this simple website
into something magical.

The project started
in Paris, World capital of Fashion.

But in reality the "Visit Project"
roots in many things
that happened some time ago
around a "fashion showroom"
and "technology hotspot"
in the heart of Paris.

The story goes back
to 1671, 1921, 1938
and again to 1986 and 1993
the early early time of the Internet.

The image shows 3 Cremerie de Paris,
today a global communication node
back in 1938 during the times of
the Les Halles foodmarket.

In the black and white images
Joe Kennedy Jr, boyfriend of Aimee de Heeren
and son of the American Ambassador in London
young Aimée de Heeren
and hthe designer Gabrielle Chanel.

Aimée had just arrived in Paris
She is so beautiful and so glamorous
everybody is captivated.
The girl lives in between two Luxury Hotels,
spends her time trying clothes,
going to Parties covered with jewels.

Society is intreaged she had no husband
and beleives she was the daughter
of an ultra wealthy Latin American landowner.
In reality her father was a poor school teacher
from Castro Brazil.
Nobody realises the girl was send
as a WW2 Secret Service Agent.

Her beauty captivates many people
among them the designer Coco Chanel
and a young American Joe Kennedy Jr
who will soon become her ally.

Chanel shows her Cremerie de Paris,
a place connected to centuries of history
she had discovered in 1921
throuh her boyfriedn Dmitri Romanov,
a cousin of the legendary Anastasia .
For Gabrielle Cremerie de Paris
is linked to the invention of N°5
and the cbirth of hee iconic double CC logo.

1954 Years after the war Chanl returns to Paris
and reconnects with Aimée.
Suffering from insomania she takes the habit
to make night walks through Paris.
Cremerie de Paris is part of Les Halles foodmarket
open all night.
Whenever in Paris,
Aimée loves to accompany her.

a little jewel from Coco Chanel
1970 Shortly before leaving this World
Chanel gives Aimée a little jewel
once given to her by her Russian boyfriend.
The jewel was Chanel's "luck bringer".

1986 IThe small color image
added to the 1938 photo of Cremerie de Paris
shows the same Aimée de Heeren
half a century later with a young student
The student became her new company
for night walks through Paris.
Without realising the student has access
to fascinating stories
as he was able to bypass the barrriers of time.

A friend of Aimée related to an old
family of Technology entrepreneurs
influences the student to open
a little shop.

The project started
in a little Phone Boutique.

We had the chance
to grow up in the environment
of a fascinating Japaneese entrempreneur.

Back in 1946 Akio Morita
had created a company
called "Tokio Tsushin Kogyo Co Ltd"
(Tokio Telecommunications Engineering Corporation).
Morita produced radios,
but when travelling outside his country,
he noticed customers
could not remember his brand name.
His company was struggeling.

This gave hime the idea
to search for a better name.
He wanted someting catchy
so he mixed the latin word "Sonus" for sound
with the english word "Sunny"
creating Sony.

He later applicated the same idea
to new products
always giving them a catchy easy to rember name,
Walkman, Handycam, Playstation.

His slogan It's a Sony
contributes to make
the company world famous.

1993 Cremerie de Paris N°1 is for sale
The revenues from the Sony phones are there
but not enough to get a realestate loan.
The student is still very young
and he is an immigrant
what makes it event more difficult to get a bank loan.

Aimee de Heeren,
takes the decision to sell the little jewel
as if Chanel that had already left this World
two decades before
had told her to continue the story ...

Soon the Sony Phone Boutique
turns into an avant-garde Internetcafe
Cybercfe de Paris.

As Paris Hotels were not yet connected
many American tourists,
that were already using the web,
came by.
The Ritz was the one
that send the most clients.

This picture from 1999 shows Cremerie de Paris
as Cybercafe de Paris
in the small images 3 visitors from California.

Sometimes we had some time to chat with cafe visitors
and some were amused
by the crazy and funny stories around our place.

In fact a long, long time ago 1671 - 1738
Cremerie de Paris / VB was the seat of the Royal French Postal Services.
King Louis XIV already knew the place when he was a child.

Some of the webcafe visitors were people you don't meet every day

the man from the Moon
One was on the first flight to the Moon.
He and his wife became friends.
We met every year when they travelled to Paris.
The man from the Moon influenced us to think
less "local" and more "global".

Another one was the inventor of "dot com"
Jon Postel explained us the magic
of his invention
as a global commincation tool.

Another one tried to sell us an iMac.
As "Sony Children" we didn't want to buy it.
Anyways we had very little money at that time
as the Internet cafe did not have
enough customers
going through a rought period
electricity was cut off all the time.

Two or three days later, around September 15 1999,
the man returned with a real iMac.
He suggested to leave it as a "present"
if we would find a nice spot in the cafe.
Thus was a deal.
Maybe he wanted Apple
become part of the magic of the "Cybercafe de Paris".

It's only 25 years later
during the Paris Olympicswe realised the visitor of our webcafe
was not just an Apple sales representative
but Steve Jobs
At that time Jobs alrerady had a new idea in his mind
the hyphen-less keyboard
of his future i-phone
which would one day make
website-with-hyphens.com
look obsolete.

Phone Book of the World
invented at the Internetcafe in 1999/2000
realised that many fascinating geographic locations
have no proper Tourist Information site.

Many cities pay so little importance
to Tourism,
only a tiny Tourist section
is part of an administrative City Portal
next to "parking tickets or "construction permits"

Others use websites with a
bulky-and-outdated-internet-address.xx

Most locations probably not even realising
the increadible cultural heritage they have.

Visit Geo Domains
Visit Bad Godesber.com
is part of a global network
connecting over 1.000 iconic Tourist sites.
Based in every country of the World
all these sites have in common
to use the same,
ultra simple domain format
starting with "Visit"
and ending with ".com".
The URLs are easy to remember
for people from every possible background.

The English word "Visit"
is connected to VB, also an acronym for Visitors Bureau,
the American or British expression
for "Fremdenverkehrsamt" or "OT / Office de Tourisme".
Just like the French word "hotel"
or the English word "phone"
"visit" has become an universal expression.

"Visit" means
come to a place, travel here,
explore a destination.

Akio Morita or Steve Jobs
could have decided to re-invent the expression
as a Marketin tool.
Their influence certainly contributed
to the Phone Book of the World
"Visit Project"

All websites connected
to the project
use "dot com", nothing else,
"dot com" the code
of the inventors of the internet.

Today the Cafe has become a famous
Pop Up Store and Showroom Location.

Cremerie de Paris also a shooting place for Movies
and TV Commercials, examples shown Emily in Paris,
Nike Barbershop
more see Shworoom Paris.com
Pop Up Store Paris.com

Cremerie de Paris
has the chance to host
the coolest Brand Expos
and some consider it to be a
"Meeting Place of the World's
most famous Brands
"

All brands have one thing in common.
They use "dot com"
rarely a national TLD
but never ever
unestablished new TLDs.

Visit Geo Domains
Visit Bad Godesberg.com
will grow over time.

In case YOU should have a passion
for Bad Godesberg
and you want to create a magical website about the city
we would be happy to connect with you
Use the opportunity to aquire the domain
before our team will give deeper development
to the site and the domain becomes too expensive.

Anyways the value of Visit Geo domains
will keep going up
as more and more powerful "Visit Sites" come alive.

The moment Global Visit List
has reached the benchmark
of 2.000 active "Visit" websites
prices will tripple.
The "Visit" domain format
is getting extremly glamorous.

With a bit of passion
this unique VisitBadGodesber.com domain
will give YOU
the possibility
to become a major actor
in the landscapee of Bad Godesberg.

Imagine YOU operate a business
in Bad Godesberg,
becoming the heart of
a cool "Visit Bad Godesberg, com website"
with webcams showing you place,
drones taking pictures from the sky,
3d images of your place
podcasts with your guests
right on the homepage of
"Visit Bad Godesberg.com"...

Every tourist will want to come by
because you will become
the hotspot of the city
and if you have products to sell
people from the remoteest places
will order them online.

And at the same time you will contribute
to the cities prestige
and it's international reputation
showing some its hidden treasures to the World.
This will attract a lot of Business
not only to your place
but the entire city.

Global Visit List.com
is a curated list where you can find
many, many iconic "Visit" Websites.

Some have been created by individual people
that have a true passion for a place they love.
Look at Visit Bad Gastein.com ,
Visit Bamberg.com
or Visit Illkirch.com

Others are operated
by official DMOs
(Destination Management Organisations)
that are very professional
understanding modern marketing tools.
Some of them like Visit California.com,
Visit Britain.com
or Visit Luxembourg.com
are true Web Pioneers.
beeing among the first on the list.

Very exceptional also Visit Morocco.com
The Kingdom has become very dynamic
after starting its webpresce with different poor URLs
they made all kinds of efforts
to aquire the domain
from an already operating website.
Same for Visit Bulgaria.com
or Visit Dubai.com

These are examples from smaller places
Visit Alassio.com (Italy)
Visit Cascais.com (Portugal)
Visit Miyagi.com (Japan)
or Visit Izola.com (Slovenia)

Sadly the National German Tourist Board
is not so up to date
promoting a website with a niche TLD
almost nobody recognises.

When you walk through
major professional Trade Events
like WTM in London,
they don't even make the effort to be present.

This happens when an organisation
has too much money.

Making a beautiful "Visit" website
is less the question of a budget
that a question of Passion and Love ...

Maybe You are the one
that will turn
the VisitBadGodesberg.com project
into something iconic.

The best possible internet domain
is the key to a Sucess Story

"Visit Domains" are like jewels,
they have to power to make a place
glamorous and beautiful !

The visitors from the cafe in Paris
will tell you
I can't wait to see the result ....

Coco Chanel might tell you
that the funds necessary for the aquisition
of the"visitBadGodesberg.com" domain
goes back to her little jewel
Make it as glamorous as beautiful. ....

And our teacher Akio Morita
might tell you It's a Visit !
